As the summer slowly starts to wind down, it’s time to look forward to the Fall/Winter Fashions. With that being said, the September issue cover models have been released and how stunning do each of the women look. The September issues of Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, Vanity Fair and Glamour magazines are some of the must have issues that every fashion blogger and fashionista much have.
In case you have yet to see the cover models for some of your favorite fashion mags, here are a few I want to share with you:
Tonight was the highly anticipated 2015 Met Gala and it was worth the wait. Gabrielle Union, Kerry Washington, Taraji P. Henson, Katy Perry, Solange, Beyoncé, and Kim Kardashian West just to name a few.
This was the who’s who of entertainment wearing the who’s who of fashion. The fashionistas brought their A game to this year’s Met Gala.
Here are my faves that came to slay the red carpet and slay they did:
1. Beyoncé shut down the red carpet in this stunning Givenchy gown draped in Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
2. Zenadya looked amazing in her Chinese inspired look.
3. Sarah Jessica Parker always looks glamorous on the red carpet and that headpiece is everything.
4. I loved everything about Gabrielle Union’s gown and look. The simplicity in her dress beautiful.
5. The ever so fashionable Solange looked stunning as well her dress details were very nice.
I’m two days late with my 72nd Golden Globes Awards fashion recap. The fashion gods showed up and showed out for the the first of many award shows of the season.
One of my favorite looks of the night was the dress worn by Giuliana Rancic. She is becoming quite the fashionista. Viola Davis looked stunning in her Donna Karen Atelier dress. How gorg did Kate Hudson look?
Keira Knightley could have chosen a much prettier dress for the award show. This dress was arguably the ugliest dress of the night. No, actually it was the ugliest dress of the night. She should’ve went with a more form fitting dress that showed off her growing baby bump. As for Melissa McCarthy, she and that thing she wore should’ve stayed in her closet.
I was not impressed with dresses worn by Kerry Washington and Lupita Nyong’o. I am huge fans of these actresses and they always look amazing on red carpets, but I not sure what happened this time around. Also, everyone seems to look Jennifer Lopez’s dress, I was not a fan of this look and her hair was completely wrong for that dress.
Please take a look at my picks for Best and Worst dress.
I wanted to share some of my favorite fashion moments of 2014. Included in my fashion rewind are Kerry Washington’s crop top look for the SAG Awards to Michelle Obama’s frozen inspired gown for the Kennedy’s Center Honors.
Kerry did not let being pregnant stop her from showing a little skin at the 2015 SAG Awards. Her custom Prada ensemble was one of the best looks of the night. Another favorite look from Kerry was the orange and blue Prada look she wore at the 2014 66th Annual Emmys.

2014 was the year of Lupita. Winning the SAG and Academy Awards for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for 12 Years a Slave, Lupita has an extraordinary year. Winning the awards were just some of the highlights of Lupita year, her red carpet looks are still being talked about. Here are some of my favorite looks from Lupita.
This week, the women in Hollywood were out and about attending awards and film festivals. The makeup choices from the following celebrities were simply stunning. Here are a few of my favorite looks:
Kerry Washington attended the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards this week. Her makeup was flawless. For this particular awards she went with very subtle make and the hint of color she added to her eyes. Washington is currently on the cover of Allure Magazine
