This just in, Olivier Rousteing, Creative Director, announced today his collaboration with H&M. I am so excited for this collection and have been a big fan of the House of Balmain for years. Mark your calendars ladies and gents, the collection debuts in select H&M stores Thursday, November 5, 2015.
Here is a sneak peak from the upcoming collection:
The location is the Grand Hôtel de Paris where Kim, Kanye, Kris, and Swedish actress Noomi Rapace all sitting front row. Olivier Rousteing’s muses Kendall Jenner and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley are two of the models in the show. Black ultra plush carpet with white trim for the models to walk on. The scene is set.
Lights are dim and the focus is solely on the models and runway. One after another they showcase the latest collection by Olivier Roustening, Creative Director, for Balmain.
Cutouts, colored blocks, see-through fabrics over hotpants, and bandeau top make up the collection. By far one of the best collections of PFW.
There is nothing wrong in saying that sexy today is modern and exploring the sexiness….I think that, for my generation, there is a lot of sexiness. I love the fact that sexiness is a power today. For me, sexiness is not only about a shape. It’s about see-through, said Rousteing.”
This just in, Kim Kardashian West was attacked and nearly dragged down by a prankster as she, Kanye, and mother Kris made their way to the Balmain show for Paris Fashion Week. Sources are saying that Vitalii Sediuk, a Ukrainian prankster, may be the stranger that grabbed Kim. Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Will Smith have all be victims for Vitalii Sediuk’s not so funny pranks.
In the video and picutres below you see bodyguards rush to help Kim from Sediuk’s grip. You can clearly see the fear in Kim and Kris’ face.
As designers are gearing up to preview their Spring/Summer 2015 collections for the world September 4-11, here are some Fall 2014 trends to look for.
Olive is going to be a huge colour this fall season. Look out for masculine tailored suits for women, amazing duvet coats (puffy/goose down coats), and the ever-so-fabulous geometric patterns, just to name a few. I know I’m looking forward to adding some of these trends to my closet.
