I must say this has been one of the best fashion weeks for New York. The designers have out done themselves this for the Spring 2016 collections.
One of the best collections shown this season is hands down, Diane von Furstenberg. DVF presented a whimsical collection that barely featured her signature wrap dresses.

Finally New York Fashion Week is literally days away. This year’s show will take place at the old post office located on 34th Street and 8th Avenue. I can’t wait to see how they transformed the old post office.

Now that the red carpet is over, it’s time for my best and worst dress artists of the night.
How gorgeous did Ciara look tonight? Nicki, Jhene, Taylor, Katy, Gwen, JHud and Beyoncé all looked flawless in there designer dresses. I can’t forget about the men John Mayer and Ne-Yo looked very handsome in their suits.

For its house’s pre-fall runway show, Prada shows us that black will be the staple color for fall. Pieces of this chic collection will definitely be seen on the streets of Paris, New York, and Milan.
Miuccia Prada was quoted backstage at the fashion show saying, “I always think, Why can’t we have the same thing for women as for men? Known and simple things. Really, that is what I like. Easier to do than ‘fashion.’” And she shrugged, with a laugh. “So it was a very consoling thing to do!” You will note, however, that the girls in this show are wearing dresses and skirts and the boys are in pants. A dissertation in “gender-neutral” dressing—that new buzz phrase for the trend toward what Jonathan Anderson calls a “shared wardrobe,” this collection is not.
