21st Annual SAG Awards Fashion Recap

While some came dressed in their designer best, others dress choices fell flat. Many of the attendees of the SAG awards tend not to go over board with their dress choices, but all in all it was quite impressed with some of the dresses that hit the red carpet.

Lupita Nyong’o, Rosamund Pike, and Felicity Jones were my favorites of the night.  Jennifer wowed in Vintage Galliano. Joan Collins just looked stunning Sunday night. Here are my best dressed of the night:

Nominees for the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards Are…..

Screen Actors Guild Awards

For the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards (“SAG”), Birdman, Boyhood, The Grand Budapast Hotel, The Imitation Game and The Theory of Everything all earned nominations for best motion picture. Noticeably left off the best motion picture list was Selma as well as David Oyelowo for Performance by a male actor in a leading role.

As for television shows, cable network shows have taken over mostly of the slots in all the categories.  Kerry Washington was not nominated for Performance by a female actor in a drama series, but Viola Davis was for “How to Get Away with Murder”.

The SAG Awards will air live Jan. 25 at 8 p.m. EST on TBS and TNT from the Shrine Exposition Hall in Los Angeles. Be sure to tune in to see will take home the green statue.

20th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards Recap

Thursday night actors and actresses alike gathered together for the 20th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards which was held at the fame Hollywood Palladium.

Angelina Jolie (sans husband Brad Pitt), Jennifer Aniston, Oprah Winfrey, David Oyelowo, Emily Blunt, Ron Howard, Jessican Chastian, and Keira Knightley are just a few of the actors/actresses that attend last night’s festivities.

And the Academy Awards Nominees Are

Today the nominees for the 2015 Academy Awards were announced today. Jennifer Aniston and David Oyelowo were shut out of their respective categories.

This year’s show will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris and will air live on ABC Sunday, February 22nd.
