‘Scandal’ and Other Fall TV Premieres We’re Looking Forward To

Now that September is here, we are only a few weeks away from the season and series premieres of some of my favorite/new shows. Some season finales left me with questions that I now need answers for. Here are the shows I am patiently waiting for:

Scandal: Where did Olivia Pope and Jake’s plane go? How will the death of President Fitzgerald Grant’s “son” change his relationship with Mellie/Olivia? What was Harrison’s fate?

Season 4 Premiere Info: Thursday, September 25, 9:00 p.m. on ABC


 

The Walking Dead Season 5

The Walking Dead: The group spent the better part of Season 4 on the search for the mysterious Terminus. In the end, Terminus was not what it seemed. What will be the fate of Rick, Michonne, Daryl and Co?

Season 5 Premiere Info: Sunday, October 12, 9:00 p.m. on AMC


 

Law and Order SVU

Law and Order: SVU: At the end of season 15, Detective Nick Amaro had been arrested for the assault of Simon Wilkes. For the past couple seasons, Olivia’s need to become a mother has been growing. Will she finally fulfill this need?

How To Get Away With Murder:  Shonda Rhimes’ track record speaks for itself—from “Grey’s Anatomy” to “Scandal.” Throw in uber-talented Viola Davis, starring as a Philadelphia law professor, and this legal drama is sure to make for compelling television.

Revenge

Revenge: The show built on one woman’s obsession with vengeance is back for  another go-round. Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke got the best of her arch-nemesis Victoria Grayson at the conclusion of Season 3, but knowing Victoria, we can expect an all-out war between these two to start this finale.

  1. Am i the only one who thinks Viola Davis is too strong of an actress for this role? It just seems to come off like she is trying too hard. I was looking forward to actual murders that would be solved at each episode but its a classroom show for future lawyers? I don’t know about this one Shonda!
